Hi,

I have a situation on hand and need desperate help, I want to sponsor my parents for Canadian PR, however my father is suffering from Heart and Kidney issues. He is on dialysis (once every week), I know this is a case of medical inadmissibility, however considering there is no one to take care of my old parents in India, are there any options? Does humanitarian ground count.

Please Please help, If someone can also suggest a good lawyer who can take this case?

If you were to sponsor your parents under the normal parents program in 2017, you would need to show your Canadian income meeting LICO for 2013, 2014 and 2015. If you just recently landed as a PR and don't have this income to show yet, then you won't be able to submit a parents app to begin with. There is no H&C way around this.

To submit a H&C app for your parents, they will physically need to be in Canada. Of course without healthcare the cost of his treatment I assume would be quite high, and in the end after possibly several years of waiting there is no guarantee he would even be granted a H&C exemption to the excessive demand medical condition. You would need to prove there is no treatment for him at home, but I'm pretty sure in India they have many capable doctors to continue his treatment.

Unfortunately there is no H&C way to consider that I know of while your parents are still in India.

@Nipin : Can you help to answer if your parents got additional Hear tests done/requested like Eco, ECG or Stress Echo? What was the outcome? Did they passed the medical with or without these exams? Appreciate your reply.
