Guys, I had made the 1040$ payment towards my spouse sponsorship application via online using my CC. CIC had sent me a receipt asking me to fill my information (PAYER). What is client ID# ? What should I write there?

Please confirm me soon. Look to hear from you guys

Thanks and best wishes

you leave that blank because you are a new sponsor. you only have to put client id if that is something already provided to u by CIC. in your case you are starting a new application and you do not have it currently so you leave it blank. but make sure you fill all other information like ur first name last name your address and your date of birth.

Hi Yusuf thanks for the response.

Is it not same as the CLIENT ID number which I have got when I received my PR? (My client ID number is mentioned in the landing document- confirmation of Permanent residence. The same number is mentioned on my PR card as well with the indication- "ID No". I thought I should mention this number (8 digit number)

Thanks a lot

Anyone has any other opinions/suggestions for me in this regard?

BEST WISHES

No bro. thats different.that was YOURS long time ago.
but for this new application leave it blank. but chances are they will issue the same client ID to you.

but for this purpose application u leave it BLANK. do NOT confuse them by putting ur PR card's client ID.....thats old

Re: SPONSORING MY SPOUSE ONLY- CIC receipt- URGENT!!

hi yusuf thanks for your response.

I m actually getting two different answers. One of the guys said the client id is the 8 digit number which is found on my PR card and I need to mention that.

Well I think I will just fill in the other information and leave it blank. what do you suggest?

Anybody else has any answers to this? highly appreciate your answers.

Thanks and best wishes
