My friend (Canadian citizen) lives and work in Central Asia currently, he married a local lady there and registered his marriage there. Now he wants to come back to Montreal where he lived before and of course bring her with him as quickly as possible. What are the steps? In my opinion it will be very difficult (or nearly impossible) to bring her right away. (no big savings etc)
Does he have to come alone first and get a job here and hire an accountant to prepare his papers? I would appreciate any advice here or even a description of the process.
