Hey My wife is an Indian Citizen but is living in USA from 2019. Her visa expired in 2022 but she is overstaying there. She came to USA on L2 Visa on her Dependant of Father's L1 visa. She completed her Bachelor's over there and right now she is studying Master's which will be completed in May 2025. I have already got my OINP Master's Stream invitation and want to sponsor her PR when I put my file in Canada Federal once I receive my OINP Certificate. Is it safe to put her PR together with me ?

You have no option you are required to add your spouse whether accompanying or non-accompanying. Does your spouse have valid passport? Hopefully you also have in person dating history or time spent together multiple times after marriage given her lack of status in the US and potential concerns she is trying to legalize her status somewhere other than her home country. Once she leaves the US she will receive a 10 year ban so hopefully the rest of her family has status in the US and can travel or have returned home.
Would suggest that you keep visiting her in the US. The passport expiry date may become an issue but you’ll need to wait and see.
Is there any possibility of renewing the passport from NY Indian consulate ? I have filed her application for PCC 2 days ago in NY Indian consulate
Post this question to a US immigration forum or contact the consulate. In Canada you cannot renew an Indian passport without having valid status in Canada. I don't know if it's the same for the US.
