Sponsorship for parents has not been open since 2020. So you wait until they open the program. Currently about 100k in the 2020 pool. Right now, every fall, they only pick from the 2020 pool. If it opens up to new profiles expect hundreds of thousands of applications based on lottery for 15k (could be less) applications.

So it could be years for your parents to be selected so make sure you maintain LICO for the number of people in your family including parents every year.
