Hello Forum,
Good afternoon.
I am sponsoring my minor child( 5 yr old) who is an Indian Citizen and currently residing in India. I am a Canadian citizen who is currently in Canada. My husband is an Indian citizen .I have another son who is a Canadian citizen residing with me in Canada(15yrold). While filling out application forms of Part 2 Immigration
a : Generic Application Form for Canada [IMM 0008] ( filled out)
b: Additional Dependants/Declaration [IMM 0008DEP] ( Fill out or not?)
c: Schedule A – Background/Declaration [IMM 5669] ( fill out or not ?)
d: Additional Family Information [IMM 5406] ( fill out or not?)

I am confused if she has to fill out the forms b,c and d. My daughter is only 5 years old. Nobody else is being sponsored with her. I am the sponsor.
My family consists of only 4 members (me husband son and daughter) out of which only me and my husband are adults , Children are both minor.
Also in Country specific forms does she has to fill out the supplementary form(India)?
Please help
Thanks
Ps

Are you sure you can't simply pass your citizenship to your child? How did you become a citizen?

It is possible that the OP is a Canadian by descent. The 15 year old son probably got citizenship by descent under the old rule. And the new 5 year old lost ability to get citizenship under the new rule.

We dont know the full story of how she got citizenship but that seems to be how it turned out for her children.

Could any one please give advise in the question posted above?

Sure...after you tell us how (and when) YOU obtained YOUR Canadian citizenship. :)

Hello

Good afternoon

I came as a skilled worker immigrant on points system and got permanent residency on my landing day. After 3 years of stay I got my citizenship .

This is citizenship by naturalization
Thanks
