sponsoring family while under EI

guys,my family in the philippines is applying for permanent residence and now it is on process and ive been here in canada for 3 years
and since january this year im receiving employment insurance EI im entitled to receive until january
2011,my question is,do you think it will affect on the outcome of our PR application since im receiving
EI from the goverment?

Nope. The only governmant assistance that you can't get as a sponsor is welfare. EI is fine. Only problem may be if you have to meet the requirements for salary, and that's only if you're bringing dependants of dependants. :)

No, its not considered welfare. EI is deducted from your payslip so in a way..its your money right! So No..its not welfare.
