I am a permanent resident for 2 years and i would like to sponsor my 3 kids. Is there like a minimum amount you make to be eligible to sponsor your dependent children? Thanks

Were your children included in your own PR application from 2 years ago or have they all been born since you landed as permanent resident? I didn't see a reference to them when I looked back at a few of your older posts.

sorry yes they were included as unaccompanying family member. They underwent medicals and such and I would like for them to follow me here.

In that case, there is nothing to stop you from applying to sponsor them immediately. There's no "qualification period".

Thanks for your answer I thought there was like a required amount. When I look at the website there's like a chart of amount you mane and the number of dependents. But thanks this gave me a big sigh of relief I would like my kids to be with me here soon. Now i can start the process. Thanks again

The chart is for sponsoring other people, such as your parents or grandparents. If you are sponsoring a spouse, common-law or conjugal partner, or dependent children, you do not have to meet the income requirements in the chart.

One note is that your children must be under 19.

Wondering if a dependant child has to sign the application as the primary applicant?
Child is outside of Canada and only 7... Do they really have the know-how to sign a legal document?

I believe there's a minimum amount if you're sponsoring a dependent child who has a dependent child, but other than that, no.

Does this still apply? I just checked the checklist and it asks for employment letter from the employer and proofs of income. thanks

There is no minimum income to sponsor your children. However, you need to prove to IRCC that you can financially support your family in Canada without welfare.
