I and my wife both are PR of Canada. We have our child who born after obtaining PR. Currently we are living in Bangladesh. I talked with CIC call center about my baby's entry process in Canada and they advised me to go there and sponsor the baby. Thus I am planning to move to Canada at the end of this year.

The sponsorship link says:

"3.Write your net personal income for the 12 months preceding the date of your application. Also write the dates of that 12-month period."

As per above requirement, I would like to understand if I move on October, should l stay until 2017 October and apply after that to be able to show 12 month period personal income ? Or if I can manage a job after arrival, can I apply at once for sponsorship of my child? Please advice.

There is no minimum income requirement to sponsor your child. You can submit the sponsorship application as soon as you have moved back to Canada.

Scylla,

Thank you very much for your post. So, once I go back to Canada I can submit my application. How about 12 month's bank statement ? Will they count my bank statement of my home country's bank account because during my application may be it would be only 2/3 months at Canada. In that I might be able to submit only 2/3 month's bank statement. I am little bit confused.
Thanks again for your help.
