Sponsoring dependant child from within Canada.

I am currently in the process of sponsoring my family to come to Canada. My common-law partner, who resides in the UK, has filled in all the forms he needs to and is currently gathering his evidence, ect. My problem is sponsoring my daughter, who resides in Canada with me. She is only 2yrs and 8months old, which forms do I need for her? Everything seems to be for partners/common-law/spouse. How is she supposed to sign forms, ect? Do children under a certain age need to apply, or are they automatic? I am a permanent resident by the way and very confused by it all. Any help or advice you can give would be grately appreciated.

There is no special form to sponsor the child from within Canada. Just include the child with the common law partner on the same application.

So I don't need separate forms for her, considering she is WITHIN Canada and my partner is OUTSIDE of Canada? She goes on my partner's forms, is that correct? I thought it was separate forms depending on where you're residing.

There is no inland application for children, only for spouses and even then, it would still be your right to apply outland (which is a lot faster through London anyway).

You do not send family applications to London.
Mississauga gets that whole app', they send the relevant sections to the Visa office.

I've just seen on another post that it gets sent back to the London visa office, silly me! It's so confusing isn't it? No wonder there is money to be made by immigration lawyers!

When it doubt, read the instructions. It does say in there where to send it

That is correct, if you have applied outland and your visa office is London, then Mississauga will process the sponsorship part and the send the application to London, UK for processing.

Take it slowly, read everything at least three times
