Hi,

My PR application is in process, once I receive it, I would like to get marry with my girl friend in my home country and sponsor her to Canada. My question is that is it possible my wife can come to visit me while the application to sponsor her is in process?

She can certainly apply for a TRV to come and visit you in Canada while the application is being processed. The refusal rates for TRVs tend to be quite high in these cases since CIC will often assume the spouse has plans on using the visitor visa to remain in Canada long term. Having said that, she can certainly apply and see what happens.

How can she prove that she will return? such as airline ticket return?

No - an airline ticket doesn't prove she will return. We don't recommend buying an airline ticket until you have an approved visa.

She needs to show ties like proof of employment, proof of property ownership, proof of bank accounts / other assets, etc.
