Sponsor spouse from outside Canada

Hi,

My wife having a Canadian PR and now we both reside in India. She want to sponsor me. From the readings what I understood was PR persons can sponsor only if they reside in Canada. But our problem is she can't travel back to Canada at the monment since she's pregnant and doctor asked her complete rest. So Is there any way we can submit the application providing this medical emergency? I am a post graduate and a software professional and I am sure that I can easily find a job in Canada.

Unfortunately rules are clear the sponsor if a PR needs to be living in Canada would make no difference if sponsor is pregnant and cannot travel.

As a SW professional have you not looked at express entry or do you not have enough foreign work experience.

Yes, I had looked in to the express entry. but I thought sponsorship take less time as compared to express entry and I've to pass the English test first for the express entry(IELTS). I've 7 years of experience in the relevant field
