I am here again.... i start filling sponsorship form it look soo ease but it is not that ease(maybe only for me ) i don't know. i was refugee in kenya and i sponsored by church and came to canada in 2000 after that i never resided in other country except i went to see family twice, now i am going to sponsor my wife and i need help with Sponsor Questionnaire #8 it say, have you resided in countries other than canada? yes or no so in my case what i have to answer? any advice thx

Write down your country Kenya because you are not Canadian.You will be asked to get a police certificate also in that country kenya.

sorry Kessa i forgot to mention that, I am canadian i got my citizen already otherwise how am going to sponsor my wife? thx

you still need write kenya in that question and provide a police certificate from there . you have been in kenya nefore u came to candan which means you were living there so u need one from there

No, he does not have to provide a police certificate from Kenya - he is not the applicant! Sponsors do not have to provide criminal clearances!!!

top2, you are the sponsor, you have lived in Kenya, so you need to write Kenya as a country you've lived in. That's all. No big deal. You probably don't know the address or phone number, so write "Unknown, see attached" and explain on a separate sheet of paper that you left there as a young child and have no recollection of where you lived.
