Hi,

This question is actually for a friend who is a student from pakistan. She's trying to get her parents here from Pakistan over the summer to visit. Her younger brother(student as well) is in Canada as well. When they sign a letter of sponsorship, should the brother mention that his sibling is here and both are sponsoring ?

Shes scared of giving immigration the wrong impression that the whole family is making a move to Canada and might not return. As such, she does not want t jeopardize the application process.

Should 1 letter sign the sponsorship letter/intent.. or Both ?

Its better written by one, especially by someone who can present some financial stability, if both are students then the onus will be on parents financial stability ( which can be assumed good as they are paying for both kids ), their assets, travel history etc

Also, there will be a section about family in Canada and they would need to mention both kids, so let immigration worry about intent
