If you're a PR of Canada, you can sponsor your wife as soon as you are married ( and have the marriage certificate etc.).
You don't need to show a specific amount, you need to explain how you plan on supporting your family. So getting a job in December should help with that.

I suppose your wife will wait outside of Canada until she has her visa. So start by downloading the application package for her country of residence, and have a look at the proofs that are required. Start gathering what is necessary, and once you're married and back in Canada, you can send the application. It would probably be a good idea to fill out the papers with your wife after the wedding, it's easier to fill it out together. Then you can come back to Canada with everything ready, and send the application right away.

Good luck,
Sweden

Thanks for the response.

1.Can i submit this application in PEI or do I have to submit the application only in Missiassuga?

2. The police report and the medical report can it be submitted after the application is filled? because the police report generally takes some time?

3. The " option C" printout - This document I cannot submit because I havent completed 12 months so what amount I have to show in the bank to sponsor my spouse

1. Outland applications are send to Mississauga, after processing there, they will be sent to the visa office where they will be processed, in your case, the visa office responsible for her country of citizenship.

2. When the checklist says something needs to be included, you should better include it. Otherwise you risk that your application will be returned as incomplete. You will find the forms for outland here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/fc.asp but check the part 3 information guide for your wife's visa office for your local instructions and checklist. Keep in mind that police certificates can not be older than 3 months when you submit your application.

3. As Sweden already said, there is no specific amount. Send an account statement and your last 3 pay slips as well as a bank letter from your employer (verifying you worked there since date x and make x amount of money).

1+2: You really need to submit everything at once, or else, as stated above, your application may be returned as incomplete. Basically, you need to get your police check and medical check done before applying, then include the results (the proof of examination for the medical, the result for the police check) with the application. You submit both your sponsorship application as well as your spouse's application, (which will have the police and medical) in the same package, and send that to Mississauga for an outland app.

What is the form you are referring to for your question #3?

Hi again,

For the police check, the exact process varies depending on the country of origin. The full details are at this link.

The IMM5401 is your receipt of payment. You should receive this either by mail, or online (if you pay online). Print this out and include it with your application.

The IMM1017 has to do with the Medical Exam, and your spouse should receive one (the Section A part) when they get the exam performed at one of the official accredited examiners. It is basically the "proof" that the exam was done, although in itself it will not contain any results (you won't be told the results unless there's a problem that requires your attention). Full details are at this link.
