Hello guys. Maybe we are very slow peoplr. My husband is Quebecoise n reside in Quebec. Therefore, he should send the doc to CPC - V or CPC- Missassuga??

Because in Feb, he sent the package to CPC-V, got transfered to CPC-M in May. We got the whole package back from CPC-M cuz they requiered new versions. Now im reading the guide again and its written:

"If you live in Quebec, you must first send your application to the Case Processing Centre in Vegreville (CPC-V), If your sponsorship application is approved, then CPC-V will send you a letter with instructions to download MICC’s undertaking kit, then to complete and submit it to the MICC. You must attach a copy of CPC-V’s letter to the undertaking application that you submit to the MICC.''

I really wanna male sure this 2nd apttem cuz we r losing a lot of times already:((

Many thanks!

Hey Linh,

if your application is for outland, then you send it to Mississauga, and then they will send it to the VO.
If you are applying inland, then it is Vegreville.

Once the sponsorship is approved, you will get a letter, that you send to MICC to get the CSQ, and the VO will need that.

Hope it clarifies!

yes. i thought as you do too. the guide is very confusing and my heart sinked almost yesterday.

thank you man.

Whoops!!!!

Wait a minute linh14....you didn't tell us where YOU live. So your husband lives in Quebec. But where are you? (I peeked quickly into your past posts, and have a suspicion that you live in Vietnam, but pls correct me if I'm wrong).

If you are in Vietnam (and plan to continue living there until you get your PR), then it makes no sense for you and your husband to send the application to Vegreville (because in order to do it inland, you are required to remain in Canada).

If you plan to remain in Vietnam, you both should send the application (and when I say application, I mean your husband's sponsorship application AND your permanent residency application) to CPC-M (Mississauga) first, and then CPC-M will assess your husband's eligibility to sponsor you, and once he's qualified, they will transfer YOUR PR application to Singapore.

If you BOTH live in Quebec, then you can do the inland sponsorship (i.e: through Vegreville) OR outland (through CPC-M and then Singapore). But if your husband lives in Quebec and you live in Vietnam, I believe you guys can only do it outland (CPC-M and then Singapore).

So please tell us exactly where you live...?
