Hi all
I just open a restaurant and want to hire my oversea friend as foreign worker to BC. She has more than 10 yrs experiences in restaurant services and was high school graduate from USA.
I wonder would temporary work permit is better or permanent work permit better for her?? which is faster? and if once she entered BC with temporary work permit can she change her status to permanent work permit, if I offer her a permanent position??
Does anyone know what are the processes and what kind of information I and her need to submit?? How long is the process? I have checked out couples websites and found it's so confused with mixed info. I also have came across about application are not accepted until after June 30, 2012 because they have reached their limits, 10 000 applications, for the period of July 1, 2011 to June 30, 2012. Info??
What is National Occupational Classification (NOC)? and what class would my friend is under?
Thanks for all your help............
