Sponsor Approval? Will it be on the PR Application?

Hi everyone,

I feel like this might be a stupid question, but I am sponsoring my common-law spouse (inland) and I see his application moving along (just got the medical request today). I just realized that I have not actually received anything about my sponsorship eligibility.

This may be a stupid question, but do I have a separate application I should be looking for?

Usually you will receive an email when you have been approved as a sponsor. Sometimes it takes them awhile to send it though. Have you looked at your account on ECAS? That can be updated to Decision Made before the email comes in some cases.
