I am sponsoring our dependent child who was born in our country after we got PRs.

My sponsorship eligibility has been approved and the application was sent to an office outside Canada.
The office emailed me and said "If you haven't submitted the following documents yet, you must submit it within 30 days".
The documents include:

Ø Birth certificate for yourself, your sponsor and all dependent children

Of course I submitted my daughter's birth certificate already, but do I need to submit my birth certificate as well?

I don't think any relevant document checklist or website pages explain about it. Could anyone please clarify it for me?

Thank you so much.

You have to do whatever they ask of you whether it is in the checklist or not.

first i'd recommend double checking what the email says. are you sure it says you, your sponsor and any dependants? not you, your spouse, and any dependants?

did you submit your birth certificate for your sponsor application? if it wasn't sent and it does indeed say sponsor not spouse, then i'd send in your birth certificate. since your daughter's has already been submitted you don't need to send hers again.
