Hello. My partner and I have been in a relationship for 18 months. We started living together in canada last April. In August we traveled in Europe for 2 months. We then went to the u.k where we intended to live whilst I worked to save money to return to Canada. Upon arrival she was refused entry and sent back to Spain. We went back to Spain and tried again a few days later. She was again denied visitor entry and was only allowed to enter the country for 4 days and then she had to return to Canada. I stayed in the u.k and returned to Canada once I had enough money to support me. My partner has been on social assistance. If she came off social assistance would we qualify as a conjugal partnership for sponsorship? Thanks

No, conjugal will not work. You can remain in Canada to become common-law, or you can get married. A conjugal app will almost certainly end in a rejection.

Emphatically concur in observation by Rob_TO.

Conjugal partner class is very narrowly drawn as an alternative for those who cannot legally marry or cohabit (by law, not due to status or economic factors).
