Hello, if anyoune can help me please,
I am a Canadian citizen and live currently in France with my husband.
I’m starting a sponsership application for my husband.

What do you think I have to add to the application to prove that
1- I can support both of us there?
2- I’m willing to go back with him when he gets his PR status?

Can I add my brother who is Canadian citizen as a cosigner?

Thank you all,

Thank you all,

1 - Proof of your earnings in Frace. Proof of any savings.
2 - Evidence such as proof of property ownership / rental / arrangements made for where you will be living when you return. Proof of a job offer that is waiting for you or discussions with potential employers. Proof of any bank accounts / savings you have in Canada.
3 - No, your brother cannot be a cosigner.

Hey there,
Kindly address my question. I’m permanent resident and hv moved in Canada in dec 2019. I didn’t start any job due to the pandemic. My husband have a work status here in Canada since past 2years. He is still having a job. Now I want to sponsor him but I doubt whether my unemployment can cause any hurdle? I have work history of 3years in India and some funds also.
Could anyone please resolve my query?

You can sponsor him as long as you are not in welfare. Being unemployed is okay. They will be looking for your explanation how you going to feed yourself and your husband in Canada.

It is a very big plus that your husband is already working in Canada. You can refer to your family income as a means of support.
