Hello everyone, I applied/sent out the paper work for sponsal sponsorship on April 20/18 and got acknowledgement this morning May 29/18. Anyone else who has applied this year and how far along are you guys?? Am hoping to hear for the next step without any hazzel as we’re expecting our first child next month,does anyone have experience with a similar situation that if your expecting can the processing time take shorter/longer or it does not make a difference? You should join the April 2018 Outland thread. To see other people from April’s timelines.

I think visa exempt countries processed through Mississauga can be quite fast. But best to check out your country specific timelines for Pakistan on the website. I am applying for my Aussie partner and Australian wait times are 12 months (with some super straight forward cases being processed in 6 months).

But some people on the forum have been waiting almost 2 years...so it’s really hard to know.

I think it depends on the visa office where the application is processed, whether they think the relationship is genuine, etc.
