Spelling of name with non-English letter for EE PR

Hi all,

I'm just creating my Express Entry profile for PR through FSW.
When I wrote my last name, it was not accepted as it contains the German letter "ö".
My name in the passport is written with ö, but in the machine-readable part at the bottom of the passport (in capital letters), it is written with "oe". The official spelling of my name I use is therefore something like "Möller" (not my actual name), and this is the way it is written on my ECA, IELTS, and any other document. The official English version would therefore be "Moeller", as at the bottom of my passport, right?
Is there any need to get a "one and the same" affidavit if this spelling of my name is included in my passport?

To make things more complicated, many years ago (nearly 15) I got a USA visa where they spelled my name with "o" (ignoring the dots). Will I have to get an affidavit if they, later on, ask me to provide the scan with the visa?

Thanks for the help!
