SOWP for spouse if I already doing study online

Hi all
I have a query. I am doing my online studies from India right now for one of the Canadian college as I was not able to travel because of Pandemic. I have my passport stamped for study visa. Can my spouse now apply for Spouse open work permit even if I study online here in India?

Please help in this case.

She can apply. Can’t say if it will be approved because you didn’t apply at the time of the study permit application (which they want you to do right now) and you aren’t in Canada.
