SOWP for LMIA-Exempt WP Holder

Good afternoon everyone!

I’m wondering if anyone has experience with Spousal Open Work Permits.

I’m currently on a closed work permit, but I was LMIA exempt.
Looking at the requirements for my spouse to get an OWP, there is an exception for “low wage stream of TFW Program”.

My wage counts as low wage, but since I was LMIA exempt does this exception still apply to me?

My understanding is that TFWP requires an LMIA, otherwise the work permit is not under the TFWP.

I see.

It’s 94140 (NOC2021) (and 9461 under NOC2016). I do stand corrected, it’s TEER 4.
