With the recent policy update of Sowp eligibility for Pgwp holders, we are in a dilemma. My spouse has an sowp which expires in July and I graduate in April with my program of study being eligible for a pgwp. I am unsure if my husband will qualify for a sowp extension when I apply for my pgwp. He is currently working in Canada as a contractor for a financial institution and we are concerned if he will have to stop working,

His SOWP is based on you having a job that is eligible with job letter and paystubs. His job is irrelevant.
Means, we cannot do the application together, would have to wait till her pgwp is approved?
No, you can apply at the same time if you have a job that is eligible for him to extend his SOWP. He can work until July so you have time.
so i just got myself a full time job ( a social service worker) a week after completion of my studies from my current employer where i have been a part time worker for a year. can we apply together now with my full time offer letter and my pay stubs of my part time contract since i haven't begun the full time yet and add my spouse's employment verification letter as well as his pay stubs to apply for my pgwp and his sowp extension?
Needs to be more than an offer letter should be after you have started the FT position. It should include start date, position title and description, the fact that you are full-time, etc.
