SOWP - Explanation response

Hi all,

I applied for SOWP online outside Canada through an attorney on March 21st. I got medical request on April 12th. And my medicals passed on April 29th. I got an email on May 6th saying that they wanted payment for my Work permit and I sent them the payment. On May 9th, 2016 I got my refusal.. Later we sent them an email asking reasons for refusal on the same day. We did not get response for a month and a half and got an email from the officer on June 30th. Now, am preparing documents they have requested for.. How long does it take for processing (irrespective of what the result is approval or refusal).. It is not a new application, it is a response written for the explanation the officer requested for ?

I think it depends on what information they have asked and visa officer. I had similar situation, it was work permit.. VO asked for additional information and we have submitted by the given deadline.. we got the response within 3 days after submitting additional information.

They asked explanation about our marital status being claimed or genuine. So we wrote an explanation letter adding all our details, photos.. How long do you think it will take for us to get a response. ?

I am getting the same status from past 3 days when I am checking online.

They asked explanation about our marital status being claimed or genuine. So we wrote an explanation letter adding all our details, photos.. How long do you think it will take for us to get a response. ?

My spouse application refused and officer notes says' Spouse claimed' so there is any thing wrong when saying claimed.

That means they need evidences of your relationship,, Send them an explanations saying how you met her, your marriage invitation, marriage photos
