SOWP approved but OWP still pending.

Hi everyone! This is John from Hong Kong, so I was applying the Open Working Permit to Canada last month, I'm the applicant (OWP), my wife is SOWP, last week my wife SOWP was approved but until now my OWP is still pending, it is so strange that isn't it the SOWP only approve after the OWP approved? Is that possible that the SOWP approved but the OWP reject? I'm kind of worry, would anyone has experience and share? Thank you and wish you happy new year!

You applied close work permit? You have job offer with LMIA?

The OWP visa I apply is designated for Hong Kong citizen, not require job offer, just require graduated no more than 5 years before application.
