Hello! I just joined this forum, nice to meet you!
I recently applied for 2014 Working holiday program in Canada. I am Japanese, married to a US citizen.
This may be a stupid question to ask but here it is... I'm too worried to do anything... right now...
On my application I checked "NO" on the section "have you used other name?" - since I have been married for 5 years and haven't used my maiden name for anything... Do I need to contact IEC to let them know? My husband said that this question usually is asked when people use alias as their common names, so I should not have to worry about it. But now I think about it, I don't know what to do..
Do IEC fix one tiny section and not delaying any assessment process? Right now I have completed all the required documents submission and current status is "eligibility assessment - in progress"
I know it is such a dumb question to ask, but I need some information/opinions/answers for what to do the best.
