You would have to apply. The only way you can apply in Canada, is under Humanitarian and compassionate, but it is a very hard way to do it. You will probably have to return home and apply in the normal fashion. see: www.cic.gc.ca Having a a baby in Canada does not give you any additional rights other than the child could sponsor you when s/he reaches 18 and is resident in Canada.
