Hi,

I have a 4-year bachelor's degree from the US. Let's say my name is John Doe and that's what my current passport name is as well.

On my degree certificate, it says John H. Doe. But on my official transcripts, it says John Doe only. I'm not sure why this is the case as the initial should have been there on both at the time. I contacted WES Canada phone support and they said it won't matter but I didn't really feel assured by the person telling me that.

Now on my required documents, it's seemingly only asking for my transcripts, not the degree certificate copy.

So my questions are:

1) Is it normal for an ECA to only ask for transcripts? Especially for a US degree?

2) Should I put my education credential name as John Doe?

3) On a different note, my US university uses Parchment and when I search for WES in the recipients, it shows WES but the New York address. Since this is an electronic transcript method, is that fine if I'm doing it for Canadian immigration?

Thanks!
