Hello all,
I will be filing my spousal sponsorship application in a month.I would appreciate your answers to some of my questions:
1. My spouse will be landing as a PR for the first time in December. So by the time he will get the PR card will be at least Feb'2018. Do we have to wait till we get the PR card to submit the spousal application as the checklist says photocopy of the PR card. Please advise.
2. When my spouse applied via express entry I had submitted my Germany PCC. I have never been to Germany post that. Do I need to get a new PCC?
3. I am already declared as spouse on the COPR. We got married in Dec'16 and got the ITA for express entry in March'17. I know my spouse for the past 7 years. My spouse successfully got PR but I have work commitments till the first half of 2018 which is why I was "unaccompanying". Since the sponsorship process takes long we want to start the process. I have been reading a lot about "proving genuineness of your relationship". Since I am already declared will I also be scrutinised in depth like those who are applying as spouse for the first time i.e after the PR/ citizen got married?? I don't have an issue giving the required proofs but was trying to understand whether a case like mine (which many people would also have) is treated with less inquiry since I was already examined for criminalty, marriage etc.
Thanks in advance!
