the last month i get a e-mail from paris they send me some papers and they ask me to make all my information and i need to tell them all about my last 12 years where i live what i do with detail...and they ask me to send this papers with post so my question is some one get like this before and what dus this mean??is this the last step in my application i need to know pls some one help

from what I understand of your post, Paris sent you a request for your addresses and employment or history for the past 12 years....

Does this take you back until you are 18? This is required information that should have been sent in with the application. It may (most likely) delay the processing of your file (possibly 2-3 months) because they had to request your background information.

Once they get that, and start going through the information, they will complete your background check and anything else that may need to be done.

Were you sent a formular e.g. IMM08_1e to fill in or was the request to provide evidence? Some european countries require some kind of residential registration (e.g. Germany) when you live there. The entries can be requested from the local offices. However, I not aware, that this information was ever requested by CIC...

yes this take me back when i was 18 they ask me about where i live and what i do with detail from 18 till now...and they ask me to send all docoments with post before 90 days...so this is normal???plus i need to know this is the last step in my application so haw long it will take to have my PR visa??/thnx for unswer

did you not send that information when you filed your application?? That is a requirement...and if you didn't you are lucky that it actually made it to the visa office and not sent back to you from Mississauga. No one can tell you how long it will take to process the file, but it could be delayed for a couple of months for them to get back to it and process the information and perform the background checks...no one can even predict how long it will take....sorry for the bad news...but on the other hand its kind of good news too, because a lot of files without the information will get sent back to you from Mississauga...

thnx for replay it really help good so you think is possible my application take less tham 8 month us i make medical test in my 24 and some ppls say that is not take more than 3 months to get the visa after medical test???i think that is not right...and pls if you can tell me what dus mean background???

your case is not going to be a normal process because you did not submit all of your paperwork at the beginning...the background check is looking into your past, where you lived, and who your family is...

Yes it is going to take longer, based on the fact that you did not submit all the information when you filed your application...they say that if they have to request any information it could delay for file for 2-3 months....and that's at a minimum...
