Hi everyone i would like to know some information for international student applications to Canada

how many semester funds does an international student suppose to show?

Hi tawhid111

As far as i know and from what i have read in here you need to show the tuition fee for the first year and the living expenses for the first year.
For more detailed information you can check the other posts in the forum.
Hope this help.

I could not find a specific post regarding the funds but just use the search engine in the upper right side of the forum and type there all the info you need to know. You will find a lot of useful info.

^^ they only require for the first year fees to be covered. However, if you have more finances to show that can cover the 3 years study in Canada then by all means include the proof when you apply. It can make your application stronger.

thanks for the reply i understand that the first semester fees are required to be shown ..what i want to know is ..

1.if the study period is 3 years is the visa issued 3 years at once ?
2.or do you you renew each year ? does a student show each year to year expense ? or is it only the first year expenses that matters and they dont look at the 2 and 3rd year expenses ? ;D

can someone explain it with clarification how does this procedure work ?

1. Not necessarily. If you are a borderline case, you might end up with 1 year of SP initially.
2. You will have to show financial capacity again when renewing SP.
