Hi,

I am an Indian citizen applying for PR for canada based on spouse visa. I need PCC from Kuwait and India currently residing in USA. The documents required for getting PCC(Police clearance certificate) from Kuwait as listed on cic.gc.ca are

a request from the Canadian Embassy;
a copy of the passport you used in Kuwait;
a copy of your old or expired resident visa in Kuwait;
four photographs; and
applicable fees.

How can I get a request from canadian embassy for pcc. Similary I am trying for gettin PCC from India. The police station over there are also asking for a request to issue pcc.

Thanks in advance

Edit:
I got the answer from canadian consulate in kuwait. They said that I just need to bring a copy of my passport to the consulate and they will issue a PCC request letter(signed and stamped by the consulate) free of charge based on that.

If you are currently in USA, then go to the Indian Embasy or nearest Consulate and apply for a PCC on their Miscellaneous Service form together with your original passport, copy of passport, recent pictures ( keep at least 4 with you ) and your proof of residence in USA. The embassy will issue PCC for you, as per their rules. You can check the Indian Embassy website also for procedure. If you have a copy of your sponsorship approval from your wife in Canada, attach that for the evidence of applying for Canadian PR. It should work.
