I had called Canada Immigration Office and to my shock came to know that Software Professional Quota has been Finished. Can somebody please shed some light on this? Really worried . Thanks

You mean NOC code 2173 ? .

I'm not sure in what context did they inform you about this, but the current EE system doesn't have any NOC limitations, atleast none till date.
There is no quota per NOC for applying to EE and no NOC is preffered over others for issuing the ITA (job offers do depend on the NOCs though)
Can you please confirm what exactly were you asking them? Did you specifically mention EE?

How are you sure about this? Why would Ordinary call up CIC office now and get shocked for something which had finished in Nov/Dec 2014?
