Hi folks,

I applied through Express Entry (currently on work visa in US). I have CoPR with last date of 26/03/2020 and target city of Toronto.
I have no clue about the process for Soft landing and landing interview. Do I have to take appointment somewhere? Please someone provide some link. Also, how long does the process take?

I hear people talking about getting Landing interview invites, what is that about? I did not receive any.

Landing interview applies to applicants within Canada, who receive their CoPR while inside Canada; the interview takes place at a local CBSA office inside Canada. In your case though, since you’re outside Canada (in the US), you can fly to Toronto Pearson International airport to complete your landing formalities. Depending on the time of the day and number of passengers arriving at the time, process could take anywhere from 40 minutes to 2 hours (according to those who’ve shared their experience here).

Mine took about 20 mins and it was at Pearson. Once you get to the counter, it shouldn't take more than 10 mins really. But there are always exceptions.

Hi Everyone,
I have just received an appt for landing at IRCC location. Appointment confirmation letter mentioned that I need to bring Payment receipt for "Right of Permanent Resident Fee (RPRF)" to the interview if i have already paid. I actually have paid this fee while submitting my application online.

Any idea which receipt exactly i should bring with me? In my application it is just mentioned as a part of table that i have paid RPRF there is no receipt.

Thank you.

Hello, may I know when you sent the appointment email and when and which office you are going to have the interview? Thanks!

You should have gotten a receipt under your application. We have ours.
