Soft landing process at YVR - Vancouver

Hi everyone,
I just had my soft landing at YVR on Monday and after near 2.5 hours waiting in the immigration hall, I finally got processed by an immigration officer.
However, I noticed that during the process (which I had forgotten to ask) the immigration officer did not ask me anything about list of goods to follow/accompanying and also she did not mention at all about the expected processing timelines for my PR card at all (sth like: you would be receiving your card in xx weeks...etc). So I am wondering whether this is absolutely normal? anyone had the same situation like mine?

Doubt that a CBSA officer will have any idea about processing times unless they take a personal interest in such things. As for goods to follow ultimately would be your responsibility to declare any goods and not for an officer to necessarily prompt you.

CBSA assumes you are moving to Canada for good unless otherwise stated.
