Soft landing for Non US

Hope everyone is well & safe
Got my new COPR and planning to do soft landing by Sept'21.
Considering that Soft landing isn't recommended/allowed, Looking for your help dears on :
- Experiences from whoever did a soft landing recently.
- Is there a minimum time required to consider landing as soft or hard
- anyone came back to Canada after a soft landing during COVID time.
