Social Worker as Counsellor?

Hi. I have a Masters in Social Work and am waiting for my PhD viva (in Social Work). I need at least one year work experience to get more points for the express entry system. My question is whether I can work as an admissions counsellor in a school here in India or as a counsellor in any other institution and still claim work experience. Which category of NOC will apply for me and how do go about it?
