Social Assistance Application while Sponsoring Spouse

My spouse is currently being sponsored by me to live in Canada and she is working while I am going to school. Along with her salary and my part time student loan it is currently not enough for our monthly expenses so I applied for social assistance. During the application they asked for spousal information so we filled it in. A few days later they called my spouse to tell her the application for social assistance has been rejected, do to her already working, her being sponsored, and I being on a student loan.

Do you know if this will in any shape or form affect her sponsorship status or eligibility for citizenship? We arrived in Canada approximately 6 months ago and applied for a outland spousal sponsorship while living overseas. After my wife received approval and visa stamp we flew to Canada together. I expect to be eligible for a full time student loan in 2024 so I will have to look elsewhere for the next year while I am studying these rather intense courses that require my full time attention presently.

Could this social assistance question come up at the time of my spouse receiving citizenship? Should we be worried at all that this may jeopardize the sponsorship status? Any help or assistance is greatly appreciated.

Thank you

This will not impact citizenship.
