So Should I not apply for visitor visa?

Hello folks. Originally I wanted to go to Canada to continue my B.A. studies, but every relative and friend suggested that I should first get degree in my country and apply for Masters in Canada, but unfortunately that won't happen at least for 2 more years. So I thought spending my summer vacation (just a week) in Canada to get known to country, until I decide to move there for 3 years, but all the topics I've read here about rejection, puts me in a very tight spot to be honest. And very reasons of the rejection are these:
1)Travel History.
I have only traveled to one country for which I was required a visa, and it was about 7-8 years ago. every other country I visited, I was not required to get a visa.(Plus my old passport is expired and I need to get new one). So in short, my travel history is really poor.
2)Ties to my home country.
Well besides being the citizen and being a student, I don't really have any ties. I am not married, I don't have a business(The only property that I own is a house, which is actually located in other town and I don't even live there). But I do work. I work in a Hotel and receive 25% of the monthly income, but then again, showing invoices from booking.com and airbnb.com won't do any good I suppose. Also my bank account consists of 0 cents in total, as I receive payment directly ( But I could ask my father to put some money there for few months)
3) Purpose of visit.
Well as I have already noted above, my purpose of visit is just tourism, nothing more ( which again is not really sufficient reason)

So my question is, should I stop considering visitor visa and wait for few more years or should I apply in the spring? The only thing, with which I can assure officer, that I will return back is my status as a student. I am even going to apply for a police academy course ( lasts 6 month) in few days, and if I get enrolled there, the course won't start at least for one more year, so I can get a statement, that I need to be present in my country at x x dates. I can as well attach my grandfathers bank account and several statements from his restaurant business as a mean of support. But in all honesty, I am really lost. I am not sure, that these things mentioned above can assure my visa. I was even thinking about taking IELTS and LSAT exam and attaching certificates, that I am genuinlly thinking about studying there, and that this visit is for only tourism.
Sorry for such long post and thanks in advance.

To visit Canada, you need to show healthy bank balance, you have to convince VO with that.

Travel history is not about this. Also CIC won't judge you for not travelling before if your travel plans add up for a person that is travelling for the first time.

Being a student is a great tie. Show letter of enrollment, letter of leave (dates when you are expected to resume studies), paid tuition receipts and good academic standing. That is more than enough to show ties.

It is sufficient reason.

You also need to show you can afford the trip. Keep the visit down to 1-2 weeks, submit evidence of own funds (1k CAD per week after accommodations). Also provide proper travel arrangements and a detailed itinerary (bookings if possible).

Good luck.
