Hello, I turned in the visa extension application and I provided everything I needed. But it seems I have made a TINY error. When it said "how long do you plan to stay?" I put the date that my visa ends, which is next month, to the date I would like to extend to. Now looking it over it says I was supposed to put the day I landed. I already submitted it and I am super stressed out. Does anyone know if this error is very bad? Is this likely to get me a rejection? Thank you

Yes but I am extending from within Canada. I have been here since October 4th of last year. I did put that date for the late entry into Canada. But under " indicate how long you plan to stay" I put from next month to next year, asking for a year extension. I was supposed to have the from date as October 4th. Are you sure they will overlook this? Is there anything I should do?
Edit: I am not even sure you did it wrong, isn't that box for your intended stay for the extension, not the expiry for your current status?

if you submitted an application for an extension, then you have implied status until you receive a decision about that application. you must leave by the date given in the extension or apply for a new one.
Okay I see. But I put the wrong date under details of visit, apparently I was supposed to put the day I landed to the day I want to leave. Not from the day my visa ends to the day I want to leave. Is it likely I would be rejected over that? Should I call or leave it?
If you aren't going to listen to what we say, there's no point in asking over and over. You didn't do it wrong. The section "Coming into Canada" is for your original entry date. The section "Details of visit to Canada" is for the time you are requesting, so you are correct to put the date your current status expires.King256 said:
