Hello People !

This is my work history (Riverstone Wealth Management Co. Ltd):

Joined - May 17th 2012
Resigned - April 8th 2015

Under Skills Transferability Factors, Foreign Work Experience I got 50 points.

I was surprised to receive 50 points. I was expecting 25 points, as I have worked 33 days less than 3 complete years.

Now I am worried that I might face problem later on for gaining higher points than I am entitled to. But I have no other options. I simply put the month and the year I joined and resigned. (THERE'S IS NO OPTION TO PUT THE DATE OF JOINING AND RESIGNATION) .

I would rather receive 25 points less than fret about the legitimacy of it.

I have sent e-mails to CIC but in vain. I haven't received any reply from them.

Can anyone PLS PLS PLS help me with contact details of CIC ( e-mail or telephone) through which I can communicate and get a response.

Thanks in advance.

What are you worrying about? There's no option to put the day so if the only option is for you to put your month and year and CIC rounds this up to give you 3 yrs then you're fine. There's nothing you can do about this as it's electronically generated. Just take the points you've been given as long as you didn't falsify anything. When you fill out your work history put the correct dates you started and left.

Thanks Anya654 for putting my case into perspective.

I hope things work out for the best for you. What s your situation ?

I have another lame question with which maybe you can help ?!

Is it possible to update an Express Entry Profile after receiving an ITA ?

( I might start to work from 1st June again. In the mean time if I get an ITA (God Willing) will I still be able to update my profile then.)

Thanks and Amen to that. Yes it's possible but some fields would be locked. When I got my ITA I could update my work experience but not my personal details like my name, DOB, marital status e.t.c. So I believe you'll be fine updating your work experience.
