Skilled Workers Visa - processing times

Hello everyone,

I'm an Irish citizen living in the South of Ireland and I am very interested in moving to Cnanada, preferably Vancouver. I qualify for the Skilled Workers Visa and I basically would like to know at this point how long the process takes? I'm hearing stories of people waiting years?! Can someone please let me know how long it takes to get this Visa? There is so much info out there but I'm in the process of filling out the simplified application process and I would really appreciate if someone could let me know how long this takes? I will check back again as I have more questions!

thanks for that! It looks like the waiting time can go up to 5 years! That's surprising as Caanda has a skilled worker shortage. Anyway I will send my application and will keep you posted!
