I would like to try and get my PR via the Skilled workers and professionals visa but just wanting some more information.
It says that you have to have a valid job offer and a min of 1 years experience which I do but I was just wondering if the letter was all I need or does my new employer have to get a LMO?
Also can you put in more than 1 PR Visa application at the same time and just see which comes through 1st?? Because I think i can do the IEC and Skilled workers and professionals

Any help/information on this I would be greatly happy for.
Thank You

IEC processing is faster than FSW but still you can apply for both program if you wish.

The new FSWP opens its doors on May 4th, 2013. Based on information provided by CIC, individuals must meet the following requirements in order to be eligible to apply:

* Have at least 1 year of full-time paid work experience in the last 10 years;

* Demonstrate at least adequate-intermediate language proficiency in all four skills (speaking, listening, reading, writing) in English or French. Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 7;

* Obtain at least 67 points on the new point grid, which is based on factors such as language proficiency, age, work experience, education, and adaptability;

and

* Have any foreign educational credentials assessed, authenticated, and given an equivalent value in Canada.
