I’m an Aussie and currently in Canada on working holiday visa. I’m working as a marine mechanic on houseboats in BC.
I don’t have qualifications here but as I had a diesel mechanic trade back in Australia the company I work for were happy to put me on as a mechanic.
They are willing to do anything to keep me however the problem is- I have been working there 8.5months and my working holiday visa runs out aug 27 this year so i won’t have the required 12 months until my current visa runs out.. does anyone have any advice?? They have said they’ll do the LMIA but I’m worried that won’t be approved in time...
Any advice would be greatly appreciated
