I want to apply for skill worker/Professional immigration CIC. I am residing in Saudia Arabia. I have also done Post graduate degree Bachelor of Library Information Science(BLIS). 15 yrs experience as a Librarian. My partner Master degree (MLIS) 12 yrs experience, are elegible or not. for further information plz contact us.

Librarian/Library science is not on the list of desired occupations for the Federal Skilled Worker program. If you wish to apply through the Federal Skilled Worker program, you will need to secure a job in Canada first in order to qualify to apply.

First of all canada in which city/state select plz tell me. I am from Pakistan but residing in Saudia Arabia.

Your school must be accredited by the ALA before you can apply and work as librarian in Academic/school Institution. I am also a Library Science graduate and taking up my MA degree. I am also a librarian and I am planning to apply in MPNP, but I cannot work as librarian there because of that reason.. So I have plan to work any types of job and earn money to support my schooling, I will enroll in one of their college to take a Library Science program again. Most of School in Canada are accredited by ALA. so if you really want to become a librarian in Canada.. you have to take a continuing studies there..
