Hello.
I am a UK citizen living in Australia with my Australian girlfriend. I am 29 and she is 25. We wish to apply for Permanent Residency in Canada under the Express Entry program for Skilled Workers. We are just about to embark on the process.
I have done plenty of research but cannot find answers to a few questions - your help would be greatly appreciated.

- I will be 29 when making the application but will turn 30 long before we get an ITA (fingers crossed). Will I be counted as a 29 year old or a 30 year old?
- I am a UK-qualified lawyer. I worked in the UK for 4+ years between 2011-2015 as a lawyer. I then went to Canada on an IEC visa (but didn't do any skilled work, just snowboarded and travelled). I have been working as a lawyer in Australia for the past 1+ years (2017-2018). As I understand it, work experience has to be continuous, but I am not sure how many years I can submit. My most recent experience is only 1 year, but I have 4 years in the UK from 2011-2015. Can I submit 3+ years of skilled work? Or just 1?
- I understand my law degree is a degree for a licensed profession so I get extra points. I also have a postgraduate diploma (the Legal Practice Course, if anyone is familiar with that) which is a requirement to practice as a lawyer in the UK. Does that count as a second post-secondary qualification?
- My girlfriend has a three year bachelors degree. She is currently completing a second, two-year associate degree. She will not have completed her degree before we submit our application, but she will have completed it in 6 months time. Can we get any credit for her second degree?
