Skilled work experience requirement under FSW - am i eligible ?

I am planning to create an express entry profile.

I am a chartered accountant by profession (Skill type A). During the previous 10 years, I only have full time work experience for 5 years. I worked with multinational company from 2007 to 2012. I have been a stay at home mom after i had two kids since 2012.

Would i qualify for the express entry and subsequently getting an ITA ?

Hey,
You will first need to do your IELTS and also get your education credentials assessed to Canadian Education. Your work experience will qualify for FSW as it is within the last 10 years.

I am eligible for express enrty as per the CIC quiz.
Also I have work experience of 5 years in the last 10 years (2007-2012)
But i have been unemployed since 2012
I spoke to couple of immigration consultants who advised me that being unemployed since 2012 is a deterrent for immigration.
does this hold true ?
